About Us
Native Tallahassean, Jay Walker, swept his first chimney in Tallahassee in 1981. Ten years later started Jay Walker Enterprises. Jay worked diligently for the next 10 years as sole owner/operator, providing chimney service and other home services to the Tallahassee area.
After getting CSIA certified by the Chimney Safety Institute of America in 1997, Jay hired his first employee in 2001. Jay Walker Enterprises also got incorporated.

Employee policy dictates that all employees providing chimney sweeps & inspections be CSIA certified. Also, all employees are insured with worker's compensation and liability insurance.
Dryer Exhuast duct service is also provided by CSIA certified dryer exhaust technicians.
Although there is no physical showroom, Jay Walker Enterprises, Inc. also sells retail items, such as: Hearth acessories, woodstoves, gas inserts, custom raincaps and chasepans, and many other hearth related items.
